Dr. Sabrina Bedell is a dedicated leader and the driving force behind our success, she ensures seamless collaboration across all workstreams. Her work is instrumental in creating long-term, sustainable impact for women throughout Rwanda. In addition to operating when she visits the people of Rwanda, she coordinates training for the clinicians and finds resources needed for patients, health care workers and health facilities.
Dr. Kenneth Ruzindana provides ongoing collaboration with Dr. Bedell and remains instrumental to our success. He provides critical high-level advocacy, facilitating introductions to key Rwandan leadership and streamlining the necessary permissions for Callixte’s operational access.
Dr. Tina Robison provides the experience as a leader and advocate in the gynecologic oncology space and connections on the international level that are paramount to success.
Dr. Lindsey Beffa provides important grounding in the mission to serve people and the ability to see humanity in all facets of our endeavours.
Callixte Habihirwe, having successfully identified key facilities within the Nyarugenge District, maintains a bi-monthly engagement schedule to ensure operational excellence. This includes rigorous monitoring of screening protocols, clinical skill assessments, and providing dedicated technical support to address emerging site concerns.
Claire Dunlap provides critical oversight of all data collected through Callixte, translating raw information into actionable tables and results. This streamlined reporting enables the team to monitor progress in real-time and prioritize areas for operational improvement and support.
Geneaye Hoyt manages the core operational infrastructure,
overseeing strategic scheduling, documentation, and
comprehensive administrative functions. Beyond her immediate
portfolio, she actively identifies and vets potential partners and
resources to expand our organizational capacity.
Dr Emmanual Manirakiza is a Rwandan gynecologist with extensive experience and dedication to cervical cancer screening and preinvasive disease management. He has been the main authority for education of all Rwandan nurses and doctors in everything HPV and precancers of the cervix and is paramount to our success in this program.
